I'm happy to be alive today because of cats.
I've grown up for most of my life with at least one cat in our family, so I've become quite used to the creatures, although you could probably argue that one can never be used to cats as a whole since they're hardly all alike.
I've known very few cats who aren't affectionate, soft and (usually) always happy to sit on you and let you cuddle them - although there are always exceptions to the rule. Their very presence makes me happy; I just can't help it. Wherever I picture myself ending up, I just can't see a happy home without a couple of cats.
So, for today, they're my reason for being happy.
Technically, I haven't missed a day in my time zone, so I'm sticking with that. Wednesday's might be a bit iffy since I'll be on a place for a vast majority of it, but I'll do my best.
