I'm happy to be alive today because of chess.
Win or lose, if you go into any game with the goal of having fun, then it's a pretty sure thing that you'll succeed. Today, I played my first game of chess. And then my second game. Tomorrow we have plans for at least one more game, which I aim to thoroughly enjoy, exactly as I did with the first two.
